About me: I am a craftswoman and I make handmade cotton turbans.
Kamali is an African word meaning guide protector.
I'm Mimi, the designer and creator of KHAMALI. My brand was born a few years ago when I discovered and fell in love with African wax fabrics. From there, I began designing different types of turbans. I've worked at trade shows in many places and finally opened my online store so it can reach more people. I continue to create more and more new things with great enthusiasm and love, and I sell them all over the world.
My life philosophy is "be the change you want to see in the world," and that's why I focus on quality fabrics made from 100% cotton. My love and respect for nature leads me to choose designs inspired by nature, especially plants and flowers.
I support fair and local trade, designing and sewing turbans in my workshop in Barcelona, Spain. I believe a fairer and more sustainable world is possible.
My dream is to bring color and joy. And for the turban trend to expand so that many women can wear it and enjoy its comfort. I always design so that the turban can be adjusted to all sizes and put on easily and educationally.
Putting on a turban has never been easier!
As an artisan, I'm proud to say that my work is a product of passion and dedication. I firmly believe in the quality of the turbans I make, so every turban I present to my customers is handmade with love.
The versatility of cotton allows me to constantly innovate and create unique designs for each turban. Each piece I create carries a bit of my personality and a bit of my story. The creation process is meticulous, and I always strive to offer high-quality products.
My love for turbans began a few years ago. As I grew older, this love solidified, and I finally decided to dedicate my life to this passion. I am so grateful that I have been able to combine my love for turbans with my skill for craftsmanship. This combination has resulted in incredible turbans, and I want to continue sharing my art with everyone who appreciates handmade cotton turbans.
